Taylor Birchwood is delighted to welcome Lisa Quinn as our executive coaching partner. Lisa brings deep experience from a 22-year career in senior communications roles, combined with eight years’ experience as an executive coach. She specialises in supporting leaders during times of transition – particularly when taking on a new role, where the stakes are high and the pressure to perform is intense.
Stepping into a new senior comms role is rarely straightforward – and can feel like drinking from a fire hose. The expectation to deliver is often immediate – whether it’s building trust with the CEO, assessing team capability, or identifying reputational risks early on. It’s a lot to navigate, and it can feel very lonely. Leadership transitions are one of the most common trigger points for executive coaching. Research from the International Coaching Federation shows that a significant number of coaching engagements begin when leaders step into new roles.
Lisa is now working in partnership with Taylor Birchwood to support senior communications leaders through these pivotal moments. A former Communications Director, Lisa brings over 30 years’ experience operating in fast-paced, high-stakes business environments. She has led high-performing teams, reported to CEOs, and held board-level responsibilities – so she understands the demands, the relentless uncertainty, and the complexity her clients are navigating.
A certified executive coach, Lisa helps her clients focus on what matters most. Her values-driven leadership approach provides them with an internal compass – enabling confident, strategic decisions without second-guessing. Her coaching is grounded in neuroscience, real-world leadership experience, and a calm presence that helps clients cut through the noise and lead with clarity and intent.
Lisa works with C-suite executives and directors across FTSE 100 companies, global agencies, and privately owned businesses. She’s a trained Mindfulness Teacher, Somatic Coach, and Team Coach, and is currently working towards the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential – the highest available from the International Coaching Federation.
Lisa is also well known to Taylor Birchwood – both as a former candidate and client, and as a former Director of Taylor Bennett.
